  • Morning Session – 2020 Annual Charge Master Update
    • This session will review the changes to the CPT codes and HCPCS codes for 2020. Additionally, changes to policies as outlined in the Medicare 2020 OPPS and MPFS will impact reimbursement. This seminar will help you prepare your facility for these changes.
      • Speaker - Frederick Stodolak, Executive Vice President, Panacea 
  • Afternoon Session – Medicare Cost Report Preparation
    • This session will focus on the fundamentals of cost report preparation, suitable for individuals who are new to the industry, have minimal cost report experience, and/or want to refresh their knowledge regarding various issues that involve submission of the Medicare cost report.
      • Speakers - Jimmy Mendez, Manager of Reimbursement Services and Bob Mahoney, Senior Consultant of Reimbursement Services, BESLER

NEW JERSEY BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CREDITS
Based on our understanding of the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy’s continuing professional education (CPE) requirements, Sponsor No. 185, this course will qualify for 3.0 CPE credits pending in Specialized Knowledge for the morning session and 3.0 CPE credits pending in Accounting and Auditing for the afternoon session.

AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVES CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
NJ HFMA is authorized to award 3.0 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for the morning program and 3.0 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for the afternoon program toward advancement, or recertification, in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program who wish to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report, participants should log into their MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.
